1. Acceptance of the Terms
By accessing or using the Aurora platform (hereinafter, “the Platform”), the user agrees to comply with and be legally bound by these Terms and Conditions of Use. If you do not agree, you must refrain from using the Platform.

Aurora is a digital platform that connects advanced English students with older adults in order to encourage language practice through virtual conversations.
Aurora does not provide formal educational or therapeutic services and does not guarantee academic or personal outcomes.
3. User Registration
To access the Platform, the user must provide truthful, complete, and updated information. The user is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their access credentials and for all activities carried out under their account.
4. User Conduct
The user agrees to:
- Maintain respectful and appropriate behavior during conversations.
- Avoid harassing, discriminating, spreading hate, or sharing inappropriate content.
- Refrain from using the Platform for commercial, political, religious, or unlawful purposes.
Aurora reserves the right to suspend or delete accounts that violate these rules without prior notice.
5. Limitation of Liability
Aurora acts solely as a technological intermediary between users.
Aurora is not responsible for:
- The content or accuracy of conversations held between users.
- Damages, losses, or incidents arising from user interactions inside or outside the Platform.
- Technical failures, service interruptions, or data loss.
Use of the Platform is undertaken at the exclusive responsibility of the user.
6. Protection of Personal Data
Aurora collects and processes personal data in accordance with its Privacy Notice, available at this link.
The user accepts this processing for operational purposes and to improve the service.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on the Platform (name, logo, design, text, code, databases, and features) is the exclusive property of Aurora or is used under the appropriate licenses. Copying, modifying, or distributing such content without express authorization is prohibited.
8. Third-Party Links
Aurora may contain links to third-party sites. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of those external sites.
9. Modifications
Aurora may modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will take effect once they are published on the Platform.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Mexican States, and any dispute will be submitted to the competent courts of Mexico City, waiving any other jurisdiction that may correspond.
